By accessing or using BladesmithHub, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.
2. Description of Service
BladesmithHub is a digital heat treat logging and project tracking tool designed for bladesmiths and knifemakers. The service allows you to:
- Create and store heat treat logs
- Manage knife and tool build projects
- Access a steel library with heat treat guidelines
- Search and filter your historical data
- Export your data in various formats
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach.
4. User Content
Ownership: You retain all rights to the heat treat logs, projects, and other content you create.
License: By using the service, you grant us a limited license to store and display your content to you.
Responsibility: You are solely responsible for the accuracy and safety of your heat treat recipes and notes.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for any illegal purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts
- Interfere with or disrupt the service
- Upload malicious content or code
6. Disclaimer
BladesmithHub is a logging tool, not a safety guide. Heat treating involves high temperatures and potentially dangerous materials. Always follow proper safety procedures and consult professional resources for heat treat specifications. We are not responsible for any injuries or damages resulting from bladesmithing activities.
7. Service Availability
We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance or updates that temporarily affect access. We will provide advance notice when possible.
8. Pricing & Payments
BladesmithHub offers both free and paid subscription tiers. Pricing is subject to change with reasonable notice. Early access users may receive special pricing or features.
Subscription Plans: Paid features are available through monthly or annual subscription plans. Plan details and pricing are displayed on our pricing page before purchase.
Payment Processing: All payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited, our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles all payment processing, invoicing, sales tax, and VAT compliance on our behalf. By purchasing a subscription, you also agree to Paddle's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or annually) unless cancelled. You will be charged the current subscription rate at renewal. You can cancel auto-renewal at any time from your account settings.
Refund Policy: We offer refunds under the following conditions:
- Monthly subscriptions: Full refund within 7 days of initial purchase
- Annual subscriptions: Full refund within 30 days of initial purchase
- Renewal charges: Refund requests within 48 hours of renewal will be considered
To request a refund, contact us at hello@bladesmithhub.com with your account email and reason for the request.
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds are provided for unused time outside the refund window.
9. Termination
You may cancel your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, you may export your data within 30 days.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or in-app notification.
11. Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the service shall be resolved in the courts of Thailand.
